Ankle Arthroscopy

my daughter had Ankle Arthroscopy 12 weeks ago. my question is her ankle pain is gone but she has pain at the incision area's is this normal i would think after 12 weeks should be ok? the hole's healed good just a little brown spot left. no swelling on either hole. what the dr did was remove scar tissue no ligament repair he also said he removed a band that was causing irritation. im kinda concerned about her pain since its been so long. she can run,jump,jog,cut, but as soon as she sprint's the incision area hurts her. any info would help.

She has her past appointment 6 week's post op. I did ask him but his response was kinda the same. He said he not really concerned about it to give it more time and go from there. But now it's been another 6 week's since that visit and her incision still hurts. I guess a good sing is it doesn't hurt as much. But it really hard getting information from a 13 year old. I just would think that it should be healed by now 13 weeks post op. He said in 5 month's if it still hurts he can try a cortisone shot. But I hear bad stuff about that.
