Thanks, Abilene and Happy Turtle! It was very nice! And as an added bonus, today has been one of my more reasonable pain days in a while, too!
Oh, the little things! Health and happiness is about
all I asked for for my birthday!

Hello! Happy Turtle, Yes CPAP is very difficult to get used to using! Perseverance is the key to it though, and it is important! I was diagnosed with sleep apnea back in January of 2007. Went from cpap. to bipap to bipap with oxygen finally in May of 2008 I was put on the vpap ASV machine with 3 LPM of O2, best thing that ever happened to me! Wearing a mask with a hose attached to it, blowing air at seemingly a thousand miles an hour into your nose and mouth isn't easy to go to sleep with! But for being so simple, it is an extremely effect treatment for sleep apnea if you can just adapt to it!
As you might be able to tell I am a big proponent of it! Allot of it is attitude if you think you can do it, usually you can! But you have to be determined, and force yourself to use it every night all night long! It's not easy but you can do it and be successful! Perseverance is the key! Just keep trying and using it! Also there are several sleep apnea support sites that can be very helpful if you haven't already went to them!
Good luck to you!
