It's that time again and this is the place where we meet hopefully on Monday and give a rundown on anything from your weekend to your week ahead. Appointments,procedures,surgeries and tests you may have scheduled,anything important going on in your world be it good or bad we want to hear about it if you want to share it.

Welcome to all new members of the CP forum here at HW and so glad you found us and glad for whatever you bring to the forum. We have a great place where you can get support,advice and well just a hand of understanding in an otherwise clueless world.

Hope everyone has survived the last cold front and really hoping springs around the corner. We reached a sunny 80 degrees here in Daytona Florida yesterday for the race and it was a awesome day that reminded me why I moved south!! Lol We do have rain forecast for the next few days but warm temps remain.

hi everyone. spilled paint in my hall. spent 22 hours awake the other day. slept all day today. fiance is sick. pain average. a lot of depression, psychiatrist friday. emotionally drained. weather turned quick today. i mean cool for us. rearranging lounge. was given some stuff, book case and things. other basics i will do tomorrow. too late now. have a nice day, wherever you may be.

Hi everybody. Had to shovel heavy wet snow yesterday so was not a good pain day. Even though I've been divorced for many years, I'm a bit melancholy today as it would have been my wedding anniversary. So, I think I must get out of the house for a bit, maybe go to a couple of thrift shops, see if I can find a little inexpensive 'treasure'. Retail therapy!

My wife and kids got the flu shot on Friday, my wife and oldest son sick over the weekend with flu symptoms.

I have not been on here in a month or so. Been so busy with work which is going very well. I'm in the marine industry (Cruise Ship) and quoted a huge order to a customer (can't say but everyone in the World knows). If I get the purchase order it'll be the first 6 digit order ever for this customer and I will be compensated big time. My wife is also getting a pay increase and bonus so in the money department all is well.

I've been managing my pain very well with the patches, Opana IR and Nucynta 200 ER. Get more injections on 3/4.

Hello everyone.36 here in N.E. AL.Wet also.I'm so ready for Spring.

This will be a slow week but next week I've got to have some Lab Work done,Liver and Kidney Screens,and PMD appointment.

Hope everyone has low-pain weeks.

edit:The Morphine seems to be working for me.30 mg MSContin x 2 and 15mg Morphine IR x 4.

I'm trying to keep a steady level in my system and it seems to work best for me this way.

I just wasn't up to working on Saturday and so binge watched House of Cards. Yesterday, though, was a productive day at my desk, wrapping up some projects and digging into something new. With the cold and damp weather, pain has been up. I was suppose to see an eye doctor today, but rescheduled due to snow.

Happy Monday everyone. Had a rough night and day today. High is 23 & low will be teens. Icy snowy and bone freezing. My back is feeling the cold badly today. So tired of this. Don't have the energy to sled with the grandkids today. Loving a dark room heating pad and bed. I'm a grand happy character today! Lol sorry everyone. Hope everyone has a good week, low pain and sunshine.

Tidalmouse: I will be praying for you and your tests coming up. Know that day will be exhausting for you!

Pitmom: I'm sorry for your sadness. Years may have passed and you may not be together anymore but today was a special day for you. It's hard not to feel a bit sad. Hope your retail adventure was fun!

Hi all,
Been a rough couple of days, high pain/low mobility. Just been feeling really bad. Not only the pain but lack of energy and no appetite what so ever.
Going to the PM doc on Wednesday with my MRI results and then go to my GP on Thursday to get checked out.
Yesterday was my birthday, had out of town relatives in to celebrate with me and hubby. It's terrible when you are so sick to try to even carry on conversations with folks, it was a fight but I did it. Got some great gifts, flower baskets, gift cards, candles-woohoo!
The weather doesn't help here, started a string of cold, wet weather and we all no what that does to us. Spring is coming but I can't feel it yet (lol).

I hope everyone has a good week or shall we say a better than average!

It's sleeting pretty good out.31 degrees so this may stick.

I got my Blood taken yesterday.6 months ago they said I had low sodium and my red blood cells were a little low.I told my PCP and he didn't seem concerned.

I'm staying in today.

My laptop decided to go on the fritz yesterday so I was without it. It started sleeting here in north central Tx Sunday around 5:00 in the evening & it went thru the night. Our high was 28 yesterday we may thaw out some today. Yesterday morning by 6:00am, Dallas had 67 wrecks, over 30 for the entire day. Trucks were jackknifing all over the place. Texas have no clue how to drive on ice or snow. We may get hit with snow tonight, crazy Tx weather.

I am opting for a warm up & soon, lol.

I finally broke down and made an appointment for another injection or ablation - whatever my pain doc decides - for next month. The lumbar pain is getting worse by the day.

I've tried diazepam when I wake up to try and lessen the spasms that start when I start to move, but it didn't help enough to bother with it. It's been taking longer and longer to be able to get out of bed, up to 1/2 hour now. After getting up I drag myself down the hall to the kitchen by sliding my shoulder down the walls, chew up my tramadol and Norco, pour a cup of coffee and sit on the couch with a heating pad for an hour or maybe two.

I haven't found a muscle relaxant that I tolerate or that works, although I think there are more I could try. I'm putting on the TENS, but I can't sleep with that!

The morning spasms cause my back to arch and hands, arms and legs to lock up and I can't move. I have to use all my little strength to break free and get moving.

It's afternoon now and I'm still stiff and in severe pain. It's time for another Norco and tramadol, which should let me move around for a couple of hours.

Alcie: I know that froze up pain so well. I'm sorry your hurting so badly. I hope your meds help you move around a bit more freely this afternoon. I used to have a tens unit and it helped knee mobility so much. Sure do miss it! I used for my arm as well after ulnar surgery. Pain steadily coming back in elbow and shoulder. I made these little rice packs to heat in microwave. Have one that reached the length of spine and then a few for hip and knee. Only relief today. I hope your appt next month brings you relief. Will be thinking and praying for you.
