Hello everyone.
First of all (as many of you know) I am not english-spoken, excuse me about my english.
This is an update of my situation:
After a year of unexplained stomach pain the doctors found a right inguinal hernia and an umbilical hernia. After the surgery the pain seems to gone, but....
But The pain and the malaise has returned :(
I have made some tests again (I am tired of all this) , and a Magnetic resonance shows a Ileitis in the last 4-5 cm of terminal ileum with adenopathies of less than 1 mm.
Now the doctor has send me a colonoscopy with ileoscopy.
If this tests are ok, the last test is exploratory laparoscopy.
Please , send your opinions, requests and encouragements to me.
The surgeon tells me that perhaps I have chronic appendicitis or ileitis.

First welcome back and sorry to hear you thought all was taken care of finally only to have the symptoms return. For the most part I believe the majority of us believe you have suffered from one of the chronic GI and or intestinal disorders due to the wide ranges of symptoms you have described the pain changing in intensity and degree following meals etc. So I am not sure how much the lap procedures would help and I think if I remember correctly you have had a colonoscopy before but maybe they're targeting something different or looking more closely at something.

If the mri shows no new tearing or issues with the hernia repairs then hopefully looking for intestinal disorders will bring some answers. It possible you may never have a exact name to go with this pain and discomfort,it unfortunately happens an treating the symptoms the best way you can becomes the goal.

I'm glad that they repaired your gut a little.I know you suffered without a diagnosis for a long time.

Hope your pain is not too bad.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. Your English is better than some 'Americans' I know!

I hope your tests bring you solid answers and that there is a solution available. I'm glad you came back to share with us. Having understanding people around helps me a whole lot!
