New bed, less pain!

Hi all. Some of you know of my experience with bed bugs. Well, we got rid of the old beds and got new Bob-o-pedic beds. Tempurpedic for poor folks! Ha ha! They say it takes two weeks for them to expand fully for the best comfort, but from the first night sleeping on it, my back pain was sooo much less!

I used to have to 'rock myself to sleep' and was always restless. Well, I'm falling to sleep quickly now, not restless, waking feeling rested! Sure, by the end of the day I'm in pain but it's sure nice to get even some relief and have good mornings!

Of course we got the special bed bug covers for both the box springs and the mattresses. The exterminator will be back for two more treatments just to be sure we are bug free! Still more work to do, my closet wasn't empty for the first treatment and some things are still out in the yard. Every piece of fabric must be washed and dried in the dryer (no clothesline for now). Still, a good nights sleep is invaluable!

Hope it works out. We had an expensive memory foam mattress, but after just a few months, it developed indentations where we slept... though I'm a mere 160lbs and my wife is 100lbs. The store gave us a refund and we've since returned to a traditional mattress.

Take note that your body heat will soften the foam and so you'll sink into it if you're a hot sleeper.
