Hi Guys,
I've been invited as a guest researcher to a university in Canada and thought I would seek input from anyone who travels between the US and Canada for longer durations.
As I'm a dual citizen, that's not an issue. But, I will be bringing a month's worth of pain meds with me -- and wonder if I should do anything to make sure there are no issues at customs.
I'll keep them in their original bottles with prescript
ion labels... but anything else to consider?
Thanks.

Keep them safe replacing them would likely be the biggest problem. Awesome opportunity!

I am a dual US/AUS. The only trouble I've ever had traveling is having pills stolen by TSA, more than once. Keep them with you or in a safe. They can not be replaced.

Thanks,
I plan on bringing them in my carry-on, in a mini-satchel along with vitamins, heart meds, otc meds, toothbrush, etc.
I can also tape lids down. But a safe, I fear, would just lead to more scrutiny, right?

Use the hotel room's safe, otherwise have your pills on your person.

Totally agree with Cary on this.
