Hi, Let me start by saying I have chronic neck pain, and take Percocet on a daily basis. 5/325 x 4 daily(sometimes more, sometimes less)
Recently I have been awakened by SEVERE pain in my lower abdomen. It is not always in the same place, but is always 'take my breath away' pain. Much worse than the constant pain in my neck.
I read that oxycodone can cause pain in the gut. The gut is the first thing to wake up, and most people do not feel it. By the time they wake up a few hours later, their normal BM is produced.
With me I wake up between 3-5 am with severe pain. Like someone is gutting me. I have never taken pain meds before 10 or 11 in the morning, but now am taking it for this gut pain as I feel like I cannot move until I do.
I am wondering if this is a merry go round of Y= pain, take Y for pain, Y-= more pain.
I have been diagnosed with:
IBS
Reflux
Hiatal Hernia
Chronic Migraines
Right kidney 50% functioning, which causes frequent UTI's
Any info y'all can provide would be helpful!
