Well it's Monday and a work and school holiday for some. Hopefully everyone is managing the weather in your area as strange as it may be. We were cool again most nights last week,a few cooler days but for the most part they were nice days. We are supposed to see some 80s by end of week here.

This is check-in where we all meet to share how our weekend was and what the week ahead holds for you. Hoping everyone had a awesome Valentine's day. Welcome all new members and here we talk about whatever we did during our weekend and if we have appointments,procedures,surgeries and tests coming up. Anything you wish to share this is the place.

Not anything for me this week unless I happen to catch whatever stuff two of the kids that were here for my granddaughters birthday Saturday had. Yes people send kid's to parties sick! Couldn't believe it and couldn't exactly stay away from them during most of the party. Anything I get with COPD is horrifically worse and my recovery process way longer these days.

Half way through Feb now and just think spring's around the corner!!

Hello all. I'm not having the best week physically. I feel like there is a 5lb rock where my uterus is supposed to be and my back pain is worse as a result.

We had single digit temperatures yesterday and the wind chill had us around -20F. The garden, however, is saying that Spring is not far away. New growth is popping up out of the ground and there are leaf buds everywhere. So, although it is snowing at the moment, the promise of warmth is out there!

We've had a cold weekend and snow yesterday and last night, (3 or 4 inches) and now they are predicting rain this afternoon and more snow tonight. But the forecast is for sixty degree weather by Friday, so go figure! I'm more than ready for spring.

Still having problems with (lower neck and upper back pain) pain in right arm has significantly decreased though, but still have allot weakness in right arm and hand. After talking with my doctor last week we are in agreement on waiting a while longer before doing a possible referral to a neurologist or other specialist. Other than that not much else is new, just "continuing to continue!"

Been back at school for a month now & doing okay for the most part. Had a couple bad pain days last week, including one utterly horrible day that forced me to skip several of my classes. But so far the effects of the infusions mostly seem to be holding, despite all the additional stress and strain on my eye. So overall, I'm pretty happy. We'll see what happens as we go forward. Hoping I can at least make it to the two month mark -- that'll be the longest I've gone between infusions.

We also had a frigid weekend here. It was in the negative teens on Saturday, with windchills in the -40's. Sunday was a little better, but not much. Tonight we are supposed to get several inches of snow, followed by coating of ice, then about 2 in of rain tomorrow during the day, followed by another several inches of snow tomorrow night! It's going to be a real mess!! Just hope the roads don't get too bad (the freezing-thawing-freezing thing is bad news). They never close the university for snow.

been busy with the hospital mental health project. seeing my therapist and trying to catch up on stuff. my shoulders and neck and stuff are brutal. my doc don't give a toss. trying to get some z's in between all of it. keeping you all in my thoughts. I am negative for cushings, even though symptomatic. my endo was quite dismissive of all of my inquiries. and rightly so, however he did say that there are stages and levels of the condition, and I am being monitored. will be talking with my eye specialist about options for pain relief for the O.N. next week I am signing my deed for self exclusion from my very local gaming venue. I have been seeking assistance with a gambling counsellor-who wanted me to apply for a part time job there!!! I got great reviews for my work at the project yesterday, via e-mail. I asked candidly that I be considered for anymore types of projects, my interests do lye in an analytical type of advocacy role. at the completion of the project I have been asked to give a little reminder talk of reminding these clinicians who they work for!!!!
