Withdraw probability?

I had my stimulator implant surgery Tuesday, 1 March, unfortunately I ended up with pneumonia and was admitted to the hospital on Monday. Can't seem to kick it and feeling worse and worse every day.

The hospital pharmacy here does not have access to my regular meds unfortunately. Due to my gastric bypass they felt it would be better to use liquid morphine instead of Oxy tab that they have. So I switched from liquid Oxy 30 mg & 1-2 5/325 Percocet every 4 hours to 20 mg morphine every 4 hours. Is that enough of a decrease to cause withdraw??

Under these circumstances, you may be able to bring in your personal medication. Robert had to do it a couple of times with his anti-rejection meds and one of his pain meds. Speak to a nurse and she/he will tell you if this is allowed at the hospital you're in. The way it worked at the 2 hospitals here was I would bring Robert's medications in and a nurse and/or the hospital pharmacist would take them, speak to his Dr., and then dispense his meds to him as usual. It's definitely worth inquiring about. Good luck and hope you are feeling better soon.
