Spinal cord stimulator trial

I just got my trial of my spinal cord stimulator placed less than 5 hours ago. It's very hard for me to get comfortable any time since this am. Is there any specific way that I shouldn't be laying down on the bed or couch? I have pillows behind my back but can I lay on my side? Anyone have any problems like this? Thanks in advance.
