Greetings,
It has been sometime since I have been on this site. But I feel like there is such great support and advice here that I am back again. I was the one who started the "think fusion" 🌀
If you look back at my threads you will see I have a history like many of you of a spine that is falling apart. And June 2014 I had C4-7 ACDF, not the standard, but the deluxe version.
Well here I am, just back from neurosurgeon because my pain in my legs and neck and cervicogenic headaches is unrelenting. He thinks I have an non-fusion at C6-7 and also saw in my X-ray that T1 has shifted forward. So there is a possibility of revision surgery and a new fusion in my future
I am scheduled to have a myelogram and a CT scan (and lumbar MRI). I am nervous about
the myelogram and the additional pain and suffering I may have to endure. Is it as bad as I have heard some say? I have bad sciatica so anything thing that puts additional pressure on my spinal cord hurts (even a sneeze).
I am not going to think about
the terrible thought of another neck surgery unless it becomes a reality. And would only have the surgery if absolutely necessary. I know it won't do any good for pain since my pain has been worse since my ACDF.....
Thanks for your input - ❤️ Bianca
