Pip joint release answer scar removal

Gotta have pip joint release on my pinkie and scar removal at the wrist. Will the pain cease with this procedure , will arthritis set in ( which I'm sure I already have )? What are my risk having this surgery before and after?

Hello Koolin, sorry to read that you have some surgery coming up. Hopefully this will go off with out hitch. As far as the procedure relieving the pain, this is something you should discuss with your surgeon. If you have arthritis now, sure there is a potential of getting it in the joint later on, that just the nature of the beast.
