Bigcase:
I highly recommend the water therapy.
Gentle movement aids so very much in easing pain.
People with pain are often afraid to move, fearing that it will cause more pain. But it more often the case that the motility and mobilization of movement eases pain. Disclaimer: I am a physical therapist by profession and so tend to encourage essential mobilization/movement.
Our bodies are meant to move. Moving, especially movement in water with water's buoyancy effects and warmer ambient temperature, has the impact of lowering pain. I hope that this is the case for you, as well.
I noticed that you are thinking about getting a medical ID bracelet. Excellent idea.
I use the RoadID® medical identification bracelet. It is an excellent option and one that has been endorsed by several health advocacy organizations (ex. National Adreanal Disease Foundation; Society of Endocrinologists).
RoadID is used by exercise enthusiasts (ex. bike riders) as well as by individuals compromised by frail health. The bracelet is made of a flexible polymer and available in a wide range of snazzy colors. A simple aluminum placard is affixed to the bracelet band. It identifies your name and up to three lines of pertinent information. On the back is a patient ID.
If you are unable to speak for you needs, EMS or other personnel reference the patient ID and call or log-in to the RoadID network. Your RoadID profile will appear. Your profile is a point-by-point narrative that you have previously entered into the RoadID system. Your profile lists your medical conditions, medications, allergies, contact telephone numbers, etc.
I have used RoadID now for 6 years and genuinely appreciate the company's caring. If you are exploring a medical ID tag, I highly recommend RoadID.
