trigger finger surgery

Had trigger finger surgery on the 21st. Had stitches out 7 days later. Then today I jammed the finger closing a lid on ice machine. There was pain of course, but surgical site started to bleed. It quit bleeding and only a little discomfort. It's Friday and of course I can't call doctor and don't know if i should go to er or wait till Monday and call dr. Any suggestions would be great

Hi wildone, your surgeon should have an answering service while the office is closed & I would put in a call. Based on what you have written above I doubt ER would be of any benefit unless you were having severe pain & active bleeding going on.

I would think the dr would give you a call back. Take care.
