Back Pain After Pump Replacement Surgery?

I just had my lumbar pump replaced yesterday. Everything was OK as far as pain. But today in addition to the incision pain (which I know is worse on the 2nd and 3rd day), my back and leg pain is severe. I wonder if it's because of how long the pump was off. I know that sounds like nothing, but I had a pump check once where it was just turned off for 5-10 minutes and I was in pain the rest of the day. (I'm male, and something else unusual was going on down there, so I know it's not mental.)

I also wonder if it's because my legs were straight, which hurts me a lot.

Has anyone else experienced this? If it gets worse I'll have to call them and probably go to the emergency room.

I found out from looking at the printouts that the level is from a prior refill, which was before a 10% increase I had done. And I specifically mentioned that to him so he'd get it right! But something else must be going on too.

I would certainly make a call to them before going to the ER, which would be a last resort, but I was so bad this morning that I was on the verge of it being intolerable. I thought maybe if they were in contact with the pain pump doc, they could give those meds via IV, but that's probably wishful thinking.

I suppose having surgery on a Friday isn't a good idea. Thanks for the reply.
