Where did my hernia meds question go?

It was there when I replied to it at like 1:30 am. :-( I basically said wear a shirt under the binder, if you are not doing so already, as it may help with the irritation (that's what I was told to do with my corset back brace to prevent it from irritating my skin & I've had no problems). And I'm not sure what meds they would prescribe, but I don't see why the oxycodone wouldn't help with muscular pain. Sorry you are going through this -- as if you didn't already have enough on your plate. :-( Hope things get better for you!

Haha, I don't know -- I think the binder sounds worse! The brace is also tight and restricting, but I can still breathe without too much trouble. It bothered me at first, but after 6 mo of wearing the brace non-stop, I've actually gotten really used to it. In fact, now that I can take it off for certain things, I almost feel lost without it...
