This is Ridiculous after one month and all the crap I've heard from different Neurologists and Hand Surgeon's is amazing.
My ulnar nerve was entrapped in February this year or this is when I became symptomatic.
Within two month's my hands clawed on the fourth and fifth fingers, my muscle wasted on the hands and I lost all the intristic movements.
I've been told that the interosseous nerve transfer is suppose to make it quicker yet that also has been pointed out that it takes several months and no definitive way of knowing unless a nerve conduction test is done.
I am looking into stemcell transplantation as I have read that this can assist peripheral nerve regeneration and that is the key to this as if there is no nerve signal going to the hand the ulnar nerve will not do it's function.
Has anyone else had this anterior interosseous nerve transfer done in the forearm after Ulnar nerve entrapment? and please share their progress?
