HT is asking if any use a soft neck collar. I use when pain flares. Got osteophytes X 2...little csf leak...burs and soft cervical spinal cord. Am eating lyrics...works good for the neuropathy in feet and lower legs.

Yeah nerve pills. I have no neck..not much...the turtle is having a chuckle. I do the side pulling..and pull chin in...sometimes I lay down. Got a special pillow...not much chop...I eat pillows..like the cookie monster eats cookies...using ibuprofen and lyrics..150x 2 doc says I can go up. Any advice will be very appreciated.

HT, now a days drs, including surgeons are not using the cervical collars much. At one time especially the cervical fusion patients always had to wear a brace for so many weeks. However, they determined after some studies that using a collar can cause the muscles to weaken which is not good. Are you using any moist heat when things get really bad, or trying cold packs? If not, you should each one out to see which helps some.

Glad to hear the Lyrica is helping with the diabetic neuropathy. How long have you been on the Lyrica, I am thinking this was added recently.

yeah lyrica newish. yep use heat, was concerned about causing weakness via using the soft brace. I will mix it up. thx for your help straydog. hope ya ok. ht.
