Post Coronary Bypass pain

I am about 6 weeks post op coronary bypass surgery. From day one I've had neuropathic pain near the top of my chest on the left side. It is different than the other pain I had after surgery and it is not going away. I stopped taking narcotics and the Lyrica prescribed didn't help and caused other issues. Does anyone have any suggestions? The pain is like a burning sensation when anything touches it. It is only around 3 out of 10 but is persistent. Has anyone else experienced this? Did anything help?

Scooterdu, I've known quite a few people including my brother that has had this surgery. When the surgeon cuts through the layers there are small nerves that get cut, there is no way to avoid this. It takes time for those nerves to heal on their own. You are still early from your surgery & hopefully this will resolve for you as more time goes by.
