Crap. I just went to the site you were talking about
. They didn't do any of that stuff. They didn't use ice packs or elastic wraps. They didn't even know what they were until 1700 hrs. Thursday night!!!! You can't see the bruises with the naked eye. They can only be seen under ultrasound. Don't know if that means anything. Now, I'm wondering if the surgeon even did my procedure. I'm really beginning to wonder if a third-rate, candy-striper student did it. In which case, I'M GOING TO BE REALLY PISSED!!!! There is a lot on that site that you directed me to and I'm very lucky to be alive. See, this is the reason why people like me come to your site straydog. We have really bad feelings about
these types of surgeries and no matter how much we try to prepare for them, something always get F'd up.
FWIW, I'm icing my throat down now as best as possible.
Oh and another thing....the surgeon told me before the procedure, my surgery was supposed to take 2.5 hours. When I came to, he told me it took 4 hours. ***? Seems another question I need to ask.
My appointment with the surgeon is next Friday, 10 JUNE. If you can think of all of the questions that need to be asked, I'd be eternally grateful to get them all out in front of him because clearly I am pissed off and feel like other stuff happened while I was under their (someone's) care.
