Hello,
In Feb 2022 I turned my head and my neck cracked very loudly near the base of my skull. I instantly had pain at the base of my skull on the right side. The next day I woke up to nerve pain going up the back of my head and into my ear, right side. The pain has also affected my cheek and top of eye brow. The pain is a burning/ tingling, with pressure in my back skull where it meets my neck, my ear stings and has tinnitus. The pain is 24/7. I had an MRI of my neck that came back with: FINDINGS:
Vertebral body heights and alignment maintained. No suspicious osseous lesions. No spinal cord signal abnormalities.
Multilevel degenerative changes:
At C23:
No significant abnormality.
At C34:
No significant abnormality.
At C45:

At C7T1:

IMPRESSION:

narrowing.
At C67:

IMPRESSION:

I am taking Pregabalin 150mg, Baclofen 30mg, Celebrex 200mg and Tylenol.
I am presently going to a pain clinic and they are doing occipital nerve blocks with anesthetic. Our medical system here in Canada is in crisis from Covid and am not sure what to do. I can't help but think that I'm missing something.
Maybe I should get an MRI or CT of my head? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
