Finger tips and my iPad

Hello and Merry Christmas all!!

I do suffer currently with numb and tingling fingers either from leftover carpal tunnel or possibly from
neck issues. I just recently bought an iPad and noticed that my finger tips seem to loose sensitivity
to the screen within about 3-4 minutes. I have adjusted the touch accommodations and figured I'll go over to apple this weekend. Does that seem possibly because of my continued nummy, tingling, cold fingers that this could happen while using the iPad? What I did for now is bought some finger sleeves that gamers use and seems fine for now with those on.
