I don't even know where to start! I guess a little background info might be helpful. I had a hip replacement on the left hip ten years ago and he put the wrong size in. I walked around on it for 4 years, telling him that something wasn't right. It took going to Duke to find out what the problem was. I don't know whether the nerve was damaged during the surgery or if it came from walking around on it for 4 years. I had a revision done at Duke but by that time it was too late. So now I have CRPS in the left leg and as of 2 years ago, it has gone into the third stage of CRPS and has spread to my right leg. I've been on opiates for the last 15 years and had to come off of them due to other health issues. But the pain in my legs is unbearable!! Needless to say, I don't do alot of walking but have to do some because my home is not set up for me to be in a wheelchair and I don't want to end up in one! My problem is I can't seem to find any help from anyone and don't know where to go to get any help! Any suggestions would be helpful at this point! I'm at the point of just wanting to die to stop the pain, but then I think of my grandchildren! But I can't even enjoy them cause I can't go anywhere or do anything with them, so why not? It would stop the pain!
