I have had back pain most of my life and recently had an MRI of my brain and spine. The report says that 'there might be a little early L5/S1 facet arthrosis with some small facet joint effusions.'
Can anyone explain to me what this means? I've tried to look it up but I still don't understand. Any input would be appreciated! thanks!

Hi there, facet arthrosis is arthritis of facet joints. Treatment can be anything from taking Tylenol to surgery, it depends on the severity of the disease.
Joint effusion is swelling.
