Hi to all,

I have been in chronic pain for over a year and it affects my ability regarding work.  However, the Dr's will not say that I have an injury that restricts me, even though it does?  Does anyone else face this?  I do not know what the future holds, so I am having trouble with deciding what to finish school for.  I was doing pre-requisites for nursing prior to this and physically I don't know if I will be able to handle the lifting involved.  Does anyone have ideas on how to make decisions regarding your career when dealing with chronic pain?  This is so frustrating for me.  Does anyone have ideas for me.  This is driving me crazy, help please.....

With some pre-nursing prerequisites already under your belt, why not look into getting a medical transcription certification or medical billing? I'd bet some of those courses would apply to transcription, or even billing. Once you get some clients under your belt, you can do your work at home. I'd love to do that myself, but don't have the money for the training right now. If it ain't one thing it's another... :-)
