Hydrotherapy

I went to see my spine doctor and I had a CT Scan done and it shows that I have 2 injured discs at L3-L4 and at L4-L5. He prescribed hydrotherapy for me. He wants me to try hydrotherapy and see if it works, and if it doesn't work, I may need surgery.

Have anyone on this forum had hydrotherapy before and how was it and what is involved?

Hi Lucia,

And welcome! There are many folks who use water based exercise. If it's available to you I personally think it's a great idea. You can move with much less pain. Good luck and keep us posted.

Does anyone know if this kind of therapy is considered by workers comp insurers as a covered therapy?
