I haven't been around for awhile. When I got divorced the putz took the pooter too! I am doing well at the moment. My colostomy is still working. My Gi and surgeon are both amazed. He didn't have enough intestine to work with to make the stoma but I had been in surgery too long so it looks like it should be on a smurf! But I'm not complaining. It's been 3 years and I seem to be in remission. At the present time I am med free! Went from 36 pills a day to zip. Did the remicade and humira.

I gotta tell you tho, I worry all the time. I hate this. at least when I was married I had a back up plan. Of course I was sick all the time then too! Hmmmmm.

So after 3 bowell obstructions, one which perforated my colon, rectal cd, 17 fistulas, 4 abcesses, and surgery to remove the sigmoid and get my stoma, I feel pretty darn good! I hope this year is good to all of you. I will try to check in a little more often. I can use my daughters pooter. Oh yeah I am going to be a grandma too! April 26th. Long time no see! So good to see you post. CONGRATS on your future grandma-hood...I know you must be so very excited.

I know how hard it is to "not worry" so I won't say that. Do however try to enjoy each and every day because you so deserve it!

CONGRATULATIONS! It sounds like life is finally giving you a break and letting you enjoy yourself. You sure are brave to be on no meds at all after you've been thru!!! We are all so darn happy for you, Cindy!

Hey, sit back and RELAX. Enjoy this wonderful remission God has blessed you with. Don't sweat the small stuff. Tomorrow is another day and the first day of the rest of your life. Make the most of it!

For someone to have been in as bad a shape as you were in what a miracle for you to be where you are at now!!!! Your story is an inspiration for us all.

Wow it is sooooo good to hear from all of you! It took me awhile to get back here. Sorry! I am glad the holidays are over. I'm not usually such a grinch but this has been a tough year. I'm looking forward to bettrer things in the future!

Can you believe this old woman is dating? lol I never thought I"d be in this position! Confidence is not something I took with me from my marriage. I guess after 27 years you just assume that it's forever. Never gave this stuff a second thought! I gotta tell you tho, some good had come out of it all. My health is better, I have lost 75 lbs. my hair is long( I had short spiked hair before)

and i have the best time looking up peeps that haven't seen me in a few years and watch them try to figure out who I am! yeah oh yeah and the best part is no more moon face!

So, I know I've been out of the loop but I was wondering if anyone has set up a time and place to get together? When I was around last we were discussiing it.
