Thank you all so much for the replies!!!!! Here in Greece we mesure height in cm and weight in kilos, so I hope I have converted right! My height is 5,77 ft (1,76 cm) and my current weight is 187 lb (85 kilos). My normal weight is 152 lb (approx. 69 kilos). That means I want to lose 16 kilos. I was always the tall blond girl, I cannot accept my current image. I feel fat, and I hate it.
Everyone is right, I don't have excuses for eating the wrong stuff, but it's the first time in my life I can really enjoy it without paying for it later. It's the first time I can go out with friends and say "let's have a beer!!!!" And of course if I don't go to the bathroom 10 times a day, everything builts up in my body and becomes fat...
Anyway, I have a stricture in the TI, and my biggest fear is fruit, I have this feeling that if I eat even a banana, it will get stuck... I know it's a phsycological thing, because I haven't had any fruit since I was diagnosed, and I'm afraid of trying. Although I do eat strawberry marmelade with all the small seeds inside. Do you guys think I could try a banana or a pealed apple? Before I got sick, I always ate fruit every evening instead of a normal dinner, especially here in Greece we have so much fresh fruit. But now, I'm so afraid of trying. Even with vegetables, I only eat carots and zuchinni (sp?) very well boiled, and of course potatoes. I don't eat tomatoes, all the green stuff etc.
P.S. Today I fell down on my way to work, we have so much snow in Athens, we can barely walk! Thank God, I didn't break anything, ha ha!!!!
