Crazy pain

 Me again, I have crohns, just started remicade, going for 3rd soon.

 I have almost always had a very tender spot in the middle of my back off to the right of my spine. It gets very painful sometimes. When I ask my doctor about 4 years ago he ordered a ct scan. They found a spot and sent me to a G.I., well needless to say he did tests and found crohns. Well I still have the tenderness and pain, my GI says it's not the crohns, so I went to a bone doc and had other tests.....nothing, he says muscles and has sent me to PT. Anyone else have anything like this and should I get my GI to check me out more?

Another thought - do you still have your gallbladder?

I have the same problem, but on the left side. Went through CT scans, MRI, X-rays, physical therapy, and latest was a steroid injection around the joint of my rib & spine. Every doctor I see tells me something else: arthritis, GI issues causing it, myofascial pain, rib out of joint, etc. The last time I saw my osteo about it (& for another manipulation) he felt it had to do with my GI issue. The GI on the other hand, thinks it is not related at all, but offered no explanation. My pain is in my back/rib area, directly over my spleen. The steroid injection did help a little bit, but it has not went away. Not sure if this is related to what you have or not, but thought I would chime in just the same....

I had this on the right side horrible. Went through tests, nothing. I went for my yearly physical and asked my gyn doctor about Cymbalta and he thought it would help me, well it took my pain away. It was horrible before, now I have none. My GI didn't think it was Crohn's related, but I do.
