An OBGYN told my wife to use Vick's after giving birth to our daughter, for hemorrhoids - I called the doctor to see if he'd made a mistake.  He confirmed the treatment.  This was way back in 1979 and the doctor was an old man then, so I expect he's not practicing anymore, but old time doctors used to tell you things that worked and didn't have to have a perscription to get.  That was before so many doctors got in the business to just make money.  Trust me, you will be very happy you took this advice.

Err.... I usually just use plain 'ole Preparation H... works good for me...

I use Vicks Vapor Rub for my joints, though... it does give me some relief... So, if you have joint problems, definitely give it a try... :)

Turns out Vick's works like a charm, little research goes a long, folks. Imagine aloe vera with lidocaine on a sunburn, that is how it feels. Rest assured you can try it with confidence.

nono Maybe it works really well - depending on circumstances such as level of inflammation or the individual's threshold of pain ? Witch hazel is an astringent isn't it - not quite the sort of thing you'd think of first for a sore bit ? A braver person than I would try Vics to see if it worked, but then you could say that of manned flight... smilewinkgrin
