It's funny: I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease years ago (gluten intolerance.) At the time, I thought I was allergic to everything under the sun because I had the "runs" chronically. I kept cutting all sorts of things out of my diet, and was eating what I thought were "safe foods" for me such as crackers (wheat) pasta (wheat) plain bread (wheat). You get the idea. The very thing I needed to cut out of my diet, I was ingesting the most of. Just my experience, but maybe something to think about?
funny you should mention that, during my previous two-year battle with crohns, I stopped eating almost everything except bread. because I was so sick, couldn't eat raw stuff and nothing sounded good anyway. then I stopped the gluten and now feel great and can eat everything else again.
