URGENT help, please!

I have Crohn's on both the left and right sides of my lower abdomen, diverticulitis on the left.  I've been in the bathroom much of today, not feeling well.  My bloodwork has been really a mess lately, very high WBC, low RBC.  about 4 hours ago, an excruciating pain hit me in my lower left quadrant, stabbing, and nothing helps it.  It's sore up to my ribs, but the pain is concentrated in my lower left in one spot. It's radiating around the side and into the back.  I'm very nauseus and feel horrible.  I'm not sure if I should wait until tomorrow or go to the ER, where they'll give me the runaround.  Help, please!

Hi Seems like your on lots of meds. I know sometimes going to emerg. can be a pain but if you have any question as to what is going on I would go to emerg. Sometimes more help is needed then we can give ourselves. Keep in touch. lol gail

When in doubt=ER. Sorry, I hate the run around too..

Thank you all for the replies.  I ended up going to the ER.  I had a cat scan, which showed a lot of inflammation and quite a few kidney stones, one 3mm stone in the left distal ureter, many in the pelvis.  They were kind enough to give me Dilaudid without much of the "are you just here for drugs?" kind of reactions, and the doctor said he couldn't tell anymore without a colonoscopy, which I usually have in July, but he would like to have done as soon as possible.  Unfortunately, my GI is overbooked today, so her nurse is getting all the info from the ER (which I also have), and my GI will make some decisions from there.  Thank you all for your quick response....I know that we all hate having to make that dreaded trip to the ER!!

Stones are the number 1 reason for my ER trips, I've only gone once for intestinal problems. Unfortunately, kidneystones are part of our DD, one of its worst features. So you know & they know this is NOT in your head or you just want pain meds ( but what is wrong with that for CD?).
I hope you got a referal to a urologist. Best of luck. BTW, I am unfortunately one of the most (sigh) EXPERIENCED stoners here, Sniper is another. Ask about anything on this topic, I've been through IT ALL. Will gladly give advice for you.
