Crohn's and gym

Hello guys, it's been a while since i last posted(almost 2 years). During this 2 years after i was diagnosed with CD i haven't had any problems. I've been drinking Salofalk 500 3 times a day and everything was fine. But today everything is different. My belly hurts like h**l and this moment that i am writing i can barely see the monitor from the pain. The only thing that has changed, is that i started gym, and yesterday was my second day. Do those two connect somehow ? My CD was diagnosed on the ileum.

you work your abs at the gym even if you are not doing sit ups and crunches as you tighten them during your set (pay attention next time you bench press and you'll notice it). so if you havent worked your abs in a long long time this could potentially be a contributor as your body needs to adjust. you could be doing the exercises with improper form which could be leading to it (trying to lift more than you can just to look cool is a bad idea and can lead to injury and a bad work out). if you are swimming laps, swimming is a massive ab work out. dont drink a lot of water while working out. it can cause cramps. just do little sips. wait until after you work out to rehydrate. overall, take things slow and ease yourself into a routine over several weeks. get comfortable with the exercises and find your weights so you get a good work out for you and make sure you are using proper form so you dont hurt yourself and you get the most out of the exercise. i know i am starving after a work out, so it is easy to over eat immediately afterwards. i break it up into 2 meals - the first one is where i have my carbs to give me some instant energy to replace what i lost. then an hour later i protein dope with my shake.

yesterday in the gym, i've had 4 sets of 30 abs (in the last one i did 35). i don't know how it's called-the exervice-but i think it affected me. i don't know what to do, i scheduled an appointment with a dr(not mine since i'm studying abroad) hopefully he will give me an answer to all this. I thought i was cured,not having and ups and downs with my illness for 19 months , but nobody can be cured right? any more information will be welcomed.

sniper: i don't have other symptoms( my main symptoms were abdominal pain and fever but i dont have fever). the pain is strong and i feel it when i make sudden moves)

i dont do any direct ab work for the sole reason of potentially running into any tummy problems. i find i hit my abs good enough through indirect methods, such as weight lifting (dead lifts, although a lower back and hamstring exercise, hits the abs very good), tai chi, and surfing. yoga hits the abs too as they'll be tight while you are holding and concentrating on the pose.

I have been following this and have a question.  If you do ab excercises, can you do any internal damage that might impact the crohn's.  Maybe a dumb question, but...
