Hey Flash, I have been down your route, and that was 5 years ago after a resection that was a nightmare. sometimes they dont get all the diseased area and of course crohns can come back whenever it feels like it. I thought I was dying, and was so sick, and now still have some issues, but Humira is helping me alot. Remicade did nothing and was allergic. I am also on Prednisone 4mg to get my lower right quad to settle, if this doesnt settle by fall then a 3rd surgery could be down the road. But I am trying to do my best. It is true like all combo's of drugs, everyone's disease is at different levels. As for not sleeping, it is true sleep is very important but the Prednisone is the culprit. We all look for relief and it is nothing you are doing, it is the disease itself. My thoughts are with you, try to stay calm, stress pays a major role, I hope you feel better soon! Let us know how you are making out.
P.S Incidently I used to smoke and quit 6 months prior to my surgery, and even if I didnt that would of made me vomit. I have quit for 6 years, had to, or canadian doctors put you on the bottom of the list!
