I just posted a reply to someone about rectal mleeding during menses and mentioned a few connections that I have come up with while researching for my self-cure...
Fat malabsorption is how some experts define Crohn's disease...I am researching that aspect.
High estrogen causes loss of zinc and retention of copper
Some experts found that UC may be caused by high levels of copper in some.
High levels of copper amplify prostaglandins, highest levels of prostaglandins are at onset of period
Malabsorption can be caused by bowel flora abnormalities in immune deficiencies...
I was thin when I became sick after taking motrin and zoloft...Adding meds to treat the 'UC' was only treating that symptom and never getting to the root of the problem...I am attempting to do that. After adding all these meds to treat my conditions, I only made my body toxic and unable to absorb nutrients...vicious cycle really...I gained over 60 lbs of inflammation likely due to fat malabsorption...This is just what I have come up with in the past few days and for me I believe I am onto something...
I no longer take supps cause I don't yet know what I am actually treating but I find all this fascinating...I have taken Omegas and Vitamin D3 and E...I am now having these levels checked due to the malabsorption issue...
There is a connection somewhere, but where and how do you start to treat what is really wrong?
Haven't got that far yet btw, I am thin again and only deal with rectal bleeding now and not all the other AI symptoms I had, so I must be onto something good
Thanks for posting this, opens minds...
