Itching - again! Help needed

Does anybody have persistent itching at some parts of body - arms, legs, neck? I used to have it in my anal, perennial and vaginal area for which I was taking nystatin. But it spread to other areas of my body, so I guess it is a kind of allergic reaction. Also, I thought it was because of the sun, but I was not sunbathing and never go out without SPF20 on my skin. I was reducing entercot (yesterday it was my last day with 3mg) and now take sulfasalazin only. Please, share with me your experience, because it is sometime unbearable, especially at night when it wakes me up.

I'm so sleepy my eyes are crosed ... Oh how I itch. My back. My bottom. (blush)
I have a lot of things wrong with me ... never Crohns but I did have IBS (D) that kept me totally in the house for 4 years. It went away when I took Adderal for Adult ADD. Things were fine and then my spine gave in and EVERYTHING ... EVERYTHING went wrong in this fair damsel's body.

i had a lot of itchy on my body and unfortunately i end up with psoriase. Try to use a very good emolliant for dry skin, i live in uk and a good one here is epaderm . In fact, the one i use. Good lucky!!!

may sound silly but itchiness can even be from stress. If you google it, you'll see lots of stuff come up. My head always gets really itchy when I am stressed out. Given that our bodies are so maxxed from this disease, it makes a good deal of sense. Also, if you're tapering prednisone, this may not be uncommon. Are you able to stay hydrated? How is your B-12 level and folic acid?

Thank you all for responses. In the meantime, itching in my arms, neck, legs, etc stopped, but itching, bad rash in my vulval/anal area exploded!!!! Again! This time it wont go away. I have tried everything, different herbal ointments (Chamomile, Calendula, St John's Wort), suppositories, vaginalettes, antihistaminic drugs. I have done the lab tests - it showed no bacteria, no yeast. Hot showers used to help me for a while, now this 'method' is also failing. Doctor warned me to wear cotton underwear only (which i do), avoid colored, perfumed toilet paper, even certain types of pads, to double rinse underwear, not to use to much detergents, etc, etc. Itching/rash began when I was tapering steroids (and finally cut off pronison and entocort) ... Anyway, I will try with homeopathic remedy tomorrow - hope it would help me.

One more thing - I am in remission! :) Well, I think I am! You never know with Crohn's disease. But, I do not have pain or anything related to Crohn. I think royal jelly and bee propolis (and physical exercises, as PB4 suggested) helped me a lot! I have abundance of energy and enthusiasm, except that devilish rash :(

I am wondering if you are allergic to azulfadine. I am allergic to sulfa drugs because they cause me to break out in a rash and itch like crazy, and Azulfadine is one of those. Just a thought~
