Hi Belly and let me welcome you to Healingwell (in case I never did). Sorry to hear you are sick again and in the hospital. I hope they get you feeling better soon. Being in the hospital sucks, so don't feel bad about venting. We understand your pain.
You maybe don't realize this now, but you made a very valid point that all new and some older Crohnies need to remember, ALWAYS take some kind of medication to keep your Crohns under control. I use Asacol, one of the mildest meds available to control my Crohns. I learned that fact myself the hard way, my 20 year remission ended with a emergency resection. We have a chronic and uncurable disease, and need to always remember that. I also stay on a low residue diet. You have to find the right foods/diet for you. One way to do that is to keep a food diary to keep track of foods that don't agree with you.
I hope they get you stabilized and you get to home soon. (((HUGS)))
