Hi I'm new here and i wanted to see if anybody else had these symptoms. Well basically I thought i had ibs because i had a bowel movement after everything i eat but iget a little rectal bleeding but not much. I might see a just a little line of blood you barely can see it. But i do not have most of the symptoms of crohn's disease. i just have the rectal bleeding and a little eye irratations but i thought that was because i have bad eyes. The point i'am trying to say is that when i'am riding in a car i feel the need to have a bowel movement at that point in time. But when i get home it goes away

stress it could be that but the bleeding I guess that could be from straining but i'am not constipated i just strain because when i go feel that i'am not done so i make myself go. i'am on my way to college and the parents are always arguing so it could be stress

The bleeding is definitely part of whatever is wrong in your gut or straining, ask your doctor if you are concerned. It sounds like a very small amount, but it still won't hurt to ask. That way you can get some answers.
I was mostly referring to your urge to go to the bathroom while in the car and then it stops when you get out. That is most likely the stress/anxiety of being in the car and "What if..." all in your mind. Maybe it will go away if you can do a few things to help you have more peace of mind - like an extra change of clothes, some baby wipes, a roll of toilet paper - you know stuff for "just in case". Then you know you're ok even if the "worst" happens.
As for the parents arguing, I'm sure that doesn't help much. I'm sorry to hear that. Hope things get better soon.

You might just want to keep an eye on it and go in regularly to see a doctor. I used to have similar problems, mainly the streak of blood and such a couple of years ago before the more serious things began so maybe just keep an eye on everything, watch what you eat, and try and find ways to reduce your stress. Hopefully this is just a temporary thing for you, but it definitely does not hurt to take the extra precautions.

Deal with the stress first. Stress can cause many health problems and it is known to make Crohn's worse. Drugs are not my first choice for that. You need to find some outlets for stress that work for you. Exercise, sports, meditation and many others are good for helping stress. Find something that suits you.

I think it could possibly be a combination of both. I think you (possibly) may already have it made up in your mind that you're going to have to poo when you're riding in a car, so when you get in a car you automatically think you have to poo. Trust me, I know that is really stressful!
The blood isn't normal but with my experience I have lost LOTS of blood (not just a little bit) when flaring. Also, I've had uncontrollable bowel movements and countless accidents.
You should see your doc to find out what is going on in there. Blood isn't normal, but lots of "normal" people get a little bit of bleeding when they poo sometimes and don't have Crohn's or Ulcerative Colitis.
Keep us updated on how you are doing! Good Luck!
