Lost a Crohnie Friend

I write today because I am very sad.  I lost a friend and co-worker two days ago.  She suffered from Crohn's her entire 62 years, having surgery after surgery until there was nothing left to take out.  She began a bout of sickness on Monday and passed away on Wednesday.  She was found in her bathroom.

She was a wonderful person.  She lived alone but had many friends and co-workers who really cared about her.  She worked right up until last week.  Her dedication to her work and her good nature despite this horrid disease was admirable.

I will miss her.

That's a very sad reminder, of just how cruel this disease can be.

Sorry for your loss. It's tragic how this disease impacts not only those affected by the disease, but their friends and family as well.

I am sorry for your loss.  There is a bright side to her death though.  no more stupid disease.  now she can live in eternity without in illnesses, not worry about if she can make it to the b/r.  She can eat what ever she wants now.     Sometimes i wish i was was dead.  does that make sense?
