Bad day today.

I start my new job tomorrow but today is the worst day I've had in a while. I spent all day in bed because my stomach is burning and cramping so much. I took some percocet but it's not helping. On top of it all I'm having some breakthrough bleeding (tmi) and maybe my period is coming on despite the fact that it's not supposed to be here for another two weeks. Thinking of going to the hospital because I cannot handle pain very well. Oh, and I'm out of toilet paper! Oh man I sure do know how to whine. :) lol.

Hi In a emerg. I sometimes use a paper towel and garbage if absolute necessary or napkins whatever you got .Old face clothes towels you name it. Congrad. on the new job .Hope you feel better soon . lol gail

Reading posts on here always makes me feel better. :) I think it might be stress and I had a bit of a crazy weekend. I am pretty nervous to start the new job, I'm nervous to take on new things out of my normal routine a lot! I'm going to try to keep hydrated and avoid a long wait in the hospital and stay at home instead. I need to get TP somehow though! No friends very close by to bring me any. Thinking of going out because I haven't eaten since last night and need some water. I'm always shocked where all the D comes from when I have barely eaten anything.

Sometimes at times like this I wish I didn't live alone. It's nice to have someone to cuddle and take care of ya!

I hope you feel better soon. I'd bet it's probably the anxiety/nerves. I get like that. Something I learned in July when I was in the hospital is that most people with CD or UC tend to have IBS or spastic colon on top of the matter! I started my period DURING my hospital stay (lovely!) and I'm ALWAYS miserable with a period (even on birth control pills to control it), and then the disease on top of it. It's painful. I bet the period and the anxiety and stress are causing your DD to give you trouble today. Do you have Xanax? Even just a half a pill might let you calm down enough to rest. I couldn't sleep last night and was generally not feeling well. I took a Xanax and slept in until 10:30am! I haven't slept THAT long in a LONG LONG time! But, it was enough to let me get functioning some today and get ready for the work week. I've been back to work for a little over a month now and some days are harder then others.

Stay strong and good luck tomorrow! I do agree with the others...if the pain is beyond bearable WITH pain meds, you probably need to go the ER and get thoroughly checked out. I hate going to the ER, but one thing they ARE good about is controlling pain and giving fluids.
