so feeling bad. have fever...so I sit and cry. I also just feel so bad...you know all over not feeling good (general malaise is the term, I think) started on Humira and went backwards...the joint pain, the D, the upset stomach, the not wanting to eat anything, the sores in the mouth...I could go on....I am now my login name...
sorry...I needed to vent as it were. So sad right now. Sad because, I want to feel better and I"M NOT. Sad because the pain never seems to go away...it wakes me up at night...gives me nightmares...
breaking down....breaking down...everything in my body...trying to see the beauty...the tears still come...

Hi I am hoping that this is going to be a bad day and things get better soon. How long have you been on Hum.? Where is your CD at? I know the tears will stop and this day will get behind you. Hang in there and will be keeping a eye out to see how your doing. If your really bad perhaps go to emerg. Are you taking tylenol for your fever? lol gail

I've been on Humira since July and seem to be back sliding a little bit each day. I put a call into my GI today...don't know if he will call...Thank you for your words of kindness...kinda needed them...oh, and the Tylenol, yeah taking it, but my temp is still elevated...takes awhile for the med to work...if it does

no...but he called back. gotta go back on higher dose of prednisone:( I guess I should say bye bye to sleep for awhile...I know the prednisone makes me feel better...in fact, I feel like superman...along with the hulks appetite and Doc Oc's rage...my fever is still up, but not as teary eyed...probably due to the prednisone...oh, and the GI is kinda stumped to treat...so he wants me to see a guy at Mayo...anyway...thanks gail for your support...

I was on Humira for months and while it seemed to make me better at first, it didn’t last. I moved to every week and finally convinced my GI it was NOT working. Then they started the process of getting me on Remicade and I stopped the Humira. Within a week, I began to feel better (not enough to warrant no meds) but it was like the Humira has made me feel worse.
I’ve had one infusion of Remicade and I’m feeling pretty good about
it.

Hope your days are getting better. This disease had me in tears last week too. I couldn't afford the 75$ co pay for one of the 5 medications I was prescribed. It all worked out in the end as Im sure everything will for you too.
