Floradix question

I take floradix to try and increase my iron a bit and my recent iron test came back a bit low. I take 10mls twice daily and I wondered if others take more of this product? (the nurse who told me the blood result suggested taking 1/2 cup but i'm a bit hesitant).

i tried this when i had bad anemia and was needing transfusions. it is a plant based iron supplement. your best for iron is from animal sources, like red meat (yum).

my bloodwork in all departments vastly improved when i began taking iron pills, like 3-6 per day. but dont get the otc ferrous sulfate kind, like slow-fe. go to a health food store and talk to some one there. most are fairly knowledgeable. get an iron supplement that is non constipating, easy on the stomach, and doesnt contain fillers like sugars and wheat and soy, etc. you got to compare a few brands and read the labels. but talk to your doc about dosing. 3-6 pills per day is a lot and was recommended to me by my doc, so talk to your doc first before you just go and do what i did.
