Been a while since I've been here. Was in remission for over a year, but about 2 months ago things went haywire. Imuran has been upped to 150 and have been on 40 mgs. of pred for over a month with less than stellar results. I am marginally functional at 40 mg. of pred, but everry time I try to taper to 30, I'm right back in the throws of a major flare. My doc wants to by-pass remicade and humira and go straight to cimzia. Does anyone have any experience with this drug? I've heard of it, but know nothing about it's effectiveness or side effects. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Kasper - I clicked on your name and it came up that your e-mail address is unavailable. I would like to know how it works with getting off of imuran and onto cimzia. Do I have to be off of the imuran for a certain length of time before starting the cimzia? If so, how do I survive that lag time? I see my doc on 10/30 and will ask then, but I always like to get first-hand info from someone who has used it. Thanks for responding.
