Hi Navvy!! Glad you were able to go home! Sorry about the pain meds. *sigh* Two of my brothers have done a LOT of doctoring at the Cleveland VA Hospital. When eldest brother had surgery there, I thought that the care was better than my sister had at the Cleveland Clinic. I think Sniper had the best answer . . . meet them, talk to them and then make your decision. I bet you have enough background with all of this GI stuff to size up a doctor very quickly. Will watch for updates. Blessings!

Do you not have a choice with VA? Seattle VA sounds much better. Wish you could take a trip over there. What I don't understand is why do you have to go to a VA to do this. Are VA medical benefits not good anyplace else?? My apologies for being somewhat... well less than smart in this area. I just want you to have the best surgeon possible with that much being removed.
