Hi all, it's needy lil me again =) I have a few questions that I hope are not foolish......
A quick update on my girl, she seen her specialist Wednesday. He agreed that she should stay out of school for another 7-10 days then see him for a follow up on the 11th. However, as I said before she is very anxious to get back to her life and was able to talk him into letting her start half days on Monday, as tolerated. If that goes well she can resume full days on the 12th after seeing him the 11th. In the mean time, he said she needs to use a wheelchair at school due to the amount of walking. The blood loss is a bigger concern, I guess. Cross your fingers that her first day will go well. His final count was 1 & 1/2 ft they removed. As I said before her blood work didn't show active disease.
So my question's are:
-How do they differentiate between active and inactive disease? Does that mean she is in remission?
-She has been having bowel movements again and it's diarrhea, does that ever subside or is it from surgery and will get better?
-She should continue avoiding foods that bothered her before, right? And those that are harder to digest?
Hope everyone's doing as well as they can!
