Does anyone get burning on their legs between their groin and knees when their Crohns kicks

Its weird but I know my illness is active by just the burning of my legs

Not VERY painful but its their and the doctors have never hear of it

I get a numbness/ aching pain in my knees and sometimes in my legs. My doctor just says it's the medication I am on :S

I get burning, but its a wee bit higher than my legs....

Could it be low electrolites especially Potassium. When my postassium is low I get burning, tingling, and numbness in my legs. Just a thought????

MTLGuy - I think I know what you're talking about. It's a deep muscular-like burning for me... Sometimes if it gets bad I resort to putting the heating pad between my thighs... Not a sore-muscle ache like I overdid it hiking or something - it's different than that... I can never pinpoint any particular muscle... just an overall achy burning in my thighs... mostly the insides of my thighs.

I realize that this won't help you since you're a guy, but for the ladies reading the post - the pain I get in my legs when I'm flaring is very close to the pain I get in my legs when I first start my period... causes a little panic every month that I'm NOT flaring because I'm convinced that's about to change... !

I find that a hot bath helps sometimes too.
