Say huh? (bloodwork, continued)

Okay, so I *finally* get through to the primary doc's nurse yesterday, and all my blood work came back dead-in-the-middle normal. Which confuses the ever loving *crap* out of me, let me tell ya. Everything I've been reading says that a low neutrophil count doesn't just bounce back from a .9 to a 3.7. So I either want to know how that could run a false result like the potassium did initially (I can cope with that being normal now because I understand how the false report comes back), or I wonder if we should go best two out of three on this stuff.

What kind of life am I living when I get *good* news from a doc and don't trust it? I give.

Maybe you should be lighting your lamp under your doctors rear end . Maybe then you could get some good answers. I tend to think that blood work is like an oil check. If there enough in there your good for a few thousand more miles.

You know, I hadn't even thought of a mix up -- my God. If I got someone else's results, they could be in real trouble...how would a person get to the bottom of that? Because I was the poster girl for kidney failure according to those labs....

My docs are actually reasonably good. It's the nurses between me and the docs that are the true doofuses. Doofusi. What's teh plural there, anyhow? This keeps up someone's getting a lamp lit under their rump. And maybe a cartoon classic hot foot to boot.
