Hi Everyone, A Calfornia friend gave me this site to explore and as I scroll down , I feel like I am right at home from the Humira to the Opium to the the Lialald, etc. I can.t wait to read what everyone has to say but I am so glad I took her advise and signed on. I have been diagnosed with Crohn's and Chrhn's Colitis for almost a year but I know in my heart I have had them both for over 30 years. The damage to my colon is irrepabble and I take Humira, Opium, Lialda, Pamine, and 5 differnt vitamins that my GI perscribes for me. Currently nothing is helping and I have lost 37 lbs. in a year. My nights and my days are awful and I make very few plans. I sleep on 4 towels and a plastic wrap that goes around our sheets. All I can say is I am blessed with the most wonderful husband in the world. I am sure we all feel that way about
our spouses. I also suffer from migraine headaches so some of the medicines counteract one another but that is a whole other issue. I can't wait to chat with everyone and just learn and listen from each of you. A hurting woman.

Hi Welcome to Healing Well and glad you joined us.I found it interesting when you mentioned you sleep on plastic and towels because I was having alot of incontinent problems before my resection in Jan. and it was hard to get any sleep because I was so imflamed and blocked that it was causing alot of problems that have gone away since my surgery that being one of them. Has your Dr. said how much of your colon is bad or mentioned if surgery would help? lol gail

Welcome, you really seem to be having problems, and I know what you mean about
the migraine meds, I'm frightened to take mine
these days. Is your doctor aware of your weight loss and bedtime problems?

Omigrandma so glad that you signed up. I am hoping you are the same lady I led to this site. As you can see already, we have some wonderful and supportive folks on this site who are suffering right along with you with this darn disease. I hope you will be able to take what you need from this site and to also share your own experiences. Welcome and we look forward to hearing more from you.
God Bless,
Gail *Nanners*
