Has anyone tried cimzia ??????

I've been on humira for over a year but its to the point that I can hardly walk, my muscles hurt so much, I have to use a cane or a scooter. So I went to see my GI and I'm going off the humira, and starting the cimzia. How much does this cost???? I know it has the same side effects but could it not trash my muscles??? On the crohns the humira works wonderful its the side effects. There's so many days I just want to quit all the drugs, it would be nice if you could rewind and start over and not have had to try so many things that could have hurt your body.I 'm getting scared trying new things sometimes I feel like a Ginnie pig. But would like to know if I'm the first here to try this new cimzia or not.......

I am currently on cimzia and have had 5 of the shots so far. It has not been the miracle drug that I had hoped it would be, but I have noticed some improvements. The worst side effects that I have had from it are muscle ache, nausea, and alot of congestion. I just talked to my G.I. this week and he is concerned that it may not be working as well for me because I was on such a high dose of Remicade in the past and built up antibodies. He just came back from te G.I. seminar in Florida and learned that if you have failed on one TNF inhibitor, you are highly likely to fail on another. I wish that I was still on Remicade, but I was getting the max dose every 4 weeks and it was only working for a week. If you have been onTNF inhibitors in the past, I would get you blood tested to make sure that you do not have a big build up of antibodies in your system. As for the payment, it is not quite as expensive as remicade but is about the same cost as humira.
