:-)  Since my dancing days are getting behind me no pun intended .Was wandering if some of you are planning a big event for Wednesday.Let us share in the fun and not so much fun. Movie night here probably and chips and dip ,dill pickle.yumm I do remember some days when my shiny silver shoes could go out and do the boogie and boogie some more ahhh for the good old days . Tell us what good things are in store for you. lol gail

We will be staying in. I, like you, think my dancing days are behind me, especially with how the old joints hurt more this time of year. Plus there are alot of crazies out, and I just feel safer at home. Plus I couldn't stay up to midnight if you paid me:) I usually wake up for a second while others are hooting and hollering, but thats about it. Pretty sad, huh???

If I feel OK, we are going to go to a section of town where they have a big outside party. There is food (won't eat any) and drinks (won't drink any). They block off the streets, and play music and then at midnight they have a ball drop. It's a lot of fun. But it's all dependent on how I feel...

Hi Nanners sometimes I can stay awake and sometimes I cain't but never too old to hoot and holler even though it's not as loud .One thing I won't be doing is banging my new stainless steel pots around hmmm I think frying pans might do. lol gail

My night consists of going out to dinner with my wife and sister and b-in law. I think then it depends on how we all feel afterwords as to if we go to my sisters house and play cards and have a few drinks and bring in the New Year or go home and crash before the ball drops. Kinda up in the air on after dinner...

I probably will stay home and study because I am just that exciting...My fiance has to work on New Year's day anyway so we'll most likely watch the ball drop and then go to sleep :) I don't mind though. Parties were never really my thing.

I may go pole my pirogue down the bayou , have some jambalaya, crawfish pie and file gumbo with my ma cher amio. I may fill a fruit jar are two and pass a good time at a fais do do . Son of a gun, may have big fun on the bayou...Hopefully by midnight I'll be sleeping...

Well, since I have to get up very early to go to the Rose Parade I guess I will have to go to bed before midnight for the first time ever! Then again maybe not. I think I will keep my two left feet firmly tucked next to me while I watch a movie or two and eat even more junk!!!

Hi Sniper with all that singing I feel like putting on my dancing shoes but will probably be chewing the gumdrop . Just hoping the fire works in the stove are the only ones I have tonight. Happy New Year on the bayou.lol gail

We stay home on New Year's Eve. My dad always referred to it as "amateur night". He said that people who weren't used to drinking were out drinking and driving. Professional drunks like him stayed home and off the streets

It's one of the few reasonable things he's ever said.
